Late Chief Nwibana Laid To Rest

The remains of late Chief, Mene Barieene Nwibana was laid to rest at his home town Kpean, in Khana Local Government Area at the weekend.
Addressing the bereaved family,the Commissioner of Information and Communications, Mrs Ibim Semenitari who led a delegation of the Ministry,expressed regret that late Chief Nwibana died at a time when his family and the Ministry needed him most..
She told them that the Ministry would do its best to assist the family adding that Mr Augustine Wikinaka, Director, Government Printing Press who is also from the community would liaise with the Ministry on behalf of the family.
The Commissioner prayed God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Responding on behalf of the bereaved family, the younger brother of late Chief Nwibana, Sergeant Anthony Nwibana of the Nigeria Police, expressed appreciation to the Commissioner the Permanent Secretary Dr Godwin Mpi and their staff for the rare visit, stressing that the family would forever be grateful for the kind gesture.
Late Chief Nwibana aged 49 years was a Superintendent of Press in the Ministry and survived by an aged mother, Madam Korsanu Mary Nwibana, two daughters and step children.
