Khana Chairman Sues for Peaceful Registration Exercise

The Chairman of Khana Local Government Council, Chief Gregory Bariledum Nwidam has advised the people in the area to be peaceful throughout the period of party registration exercise.
Addressing the people in the LGA, Chief Nwidam called on the Registration Officers to view their appointment as an opportunity to provide quality service.
He reminded them of the need to shun the habit of hoarding cards as such behavior would deprive legitimate members of having their individual party cards.
Also speaking, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Community Development, Chief Austin Nwaku appealed to Registration Officers to be honest and dedicated to ensure a hitch-free exercise in Khana Local Government.
Chief Nwaku said, it was imperative for all members of PDP in the area to be registered so that they would have equal opportunity to participate in choosing person of proven integrity for the forth coming elections.
Earlier, the Chairman of the party in Khana Local Government Area, Mr. Mike Igbonee had warned against registration by proxy.
Highlight of the occasion was the presentation of a brand new eighteen seater bus donated by the Commissioner of Finance, Mr. George Feyii and the Secretary to Government, Mr. Magnus Abe to PDP Khana Local Government.
